how to live a plant-based life.

life.unlabeled. 6-week challenge

I am so excited to share this with you today! (Even if it’s l–o–n–g after I’d hoped to share it!) I am the organized planning type, so making meal plans, schedules, and lists is just part of my world. I used to think sometimes that I was wasting my time and I should just go with the flow, but then one day I realized that the work I do to plan for my own family could really help someone else who would like to learn a new way of eating well without the headache of figuring it all out. So alas, my efforts aren’t in vain!

Trying your hand at a whole-foods, plant-based lifestyle has never been so simple. Change is never easy, but I have taken the guess work and planning out of the equation for you to help you get started. You CAN learn how to live a plant-based life. Using the recipes and information in the life.unlabeled. 6-week challenge, all that’s left for you is to follow instructions to learn what to buy and how to prepare delicious and satisfying food to fuel your healthy life. After 6 weeks, you should have a good idea of what you like, what you don’t, and how to bring it all together. At first, every day may feel like a new culinary adventure, but after you’ve made it through 6 weeks, you’ll have new “regulars” that you are comfortable preparing quickly and easily and you can start to add new dishes to your repertoire as your time and creativity allow.

The life.unlabeled. 6-week challenge includes full meal plans for 6 weeks (there are 3 one-week meal plans, but you will use each one-week plan 2 weeks in a row, for a total of 6 weeks) including meal schedules and recipes for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, prep schedules to help you plan your day, grocery lists, the know your food shopping and basic prep guide, a nutrition log for keeping track of your journey, and blank forms for flying solo once you’ve mastered your new lifestyle and are ready to plan your own meals.

You won’t find anything too exotic or fancy – I’m a stay-at-home mommy to 3 little boys, not a fancy 5-star chef. What you will find is a collection of recipes that my family enjoys, using a variety of plant-based ingredients and simple preparation methods. My passion is to share my organizational skills and culinary experience to empower others to create affordable, nourishing, allergen-friendly (everything I cook is gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free, soy-free, nut-free), healing food for their families.

Here’s a peek at what you will get so you have an idea of what to expect. The e-book is organized in 4 main sections: resources for getting started, weekly meal plans, resources for flying solo, and recipes by meal (the same recipes included in the weekly meal plans but re-organized to make it easier to find a recipe when you are ready to plan your own meals).

ready to get healthy?

Who doesn’t want to be healthy? Ann Wigmore said it best when she said, “The food you eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.” Food is what fuels our bodies. Plant foods have been shown in numerous studies under varied circumstances to be the healthiest form of energy for the human body. If you’re still searching for some answers, consider reading through some of the posts I’ve written about finding health from a whole-foods, plant-based lifestyle:

Ready to give a whole-foods, plant-based lifestyle a try? I encourage you to commit to a full 6 weeks to allow your body to adjust and detox before making any long term decisions about whether or not to continue. When you’re ready to plan on your own, the 100+ recipes are organized by meal at the back of the book.
